What a great taster of Dubai. We started early with a pick up at 8am.We travelled through peak traffic and as it was Sunday the first day of their working week - guess what - we got into a traffic jam, Someone had rear ended a taxi (nothing changes the world over).
Our first stop was Jumeirah beach
and then on to Jureimah Mosque
and then a visit to historical building with their ancient wind towers
and on to Dubai Museum
and then crossed the Dubai Creek in a traditional abra (water tax)
Then finally onto a Spice Market and Gold Market which Pete made sure I had no wallet.
Both tours provided a great insight into Dubai's rich history and when you are on limited time it rounded up our experience in Dubai beautifully.
Off to Dublin tomorrow.
