Dublin - Galey Bay - Conga

Arrived Dublin 12 hours late after being bumped off Emirates flight as they like to overbook - great start.

One lesson learnt is always check-in on line. One perk was another night in a very nice hotel and a bonus flight each from Dubai to Dublin anytime 2015-2016. They have said it is changeable so will see if we can get a return trip to Aussie.

Collected campervan without a hitch and hit the M4 out of Dublin -
Stayed Tuesday night at Galey Bay on Lough Ree http://www.galeybayScamping.ie/.

Woke to drizzle, as camp ground was not open  we did not have to pay and were told to just to plug in :-)  Our morning walk was down to the Lough and ruins.

Loved this sign

Headed to Roscommon to get stores and sort out sim for tablet and visited Roscommon Castle

The weather has continued to improve throughout the day but cold. Back Roads to Cong has been interesting, we have managed to get lost twice, detours are wonderful they say detour just don't hold your breath for the next instruction.

Country side has been lovely we shall be checking out Cong in the morning before moving on. 7.20pm at the moment and sun is shining, weather forecast is for improving so the Irish say.
