Desert Dinner Safari

Saturday 11 April

Arrived extremely early after a very long flight, got through customs very easy and transfer to hotel was a peace of cake.

Saturday afternoon we took a Safari - highly recommend.

Started with an drive out to Conservation Reserve which is now 225 hectares an hour from Dubai. 15% of all tourist companies fees goes to this reserve.

SURPRISE SURPRISE - No matter where we go one of the first things Pete sees is a grader.
Unsure if this one has been used as the road out to Reserve badly needed grading.

1950s Land Rovers
Traditional head dresses, red for men, black for women.
Below our guide Nasit was a hive of useful information.
We had a video taken by a drone which is at the bottom of the blog.

Four Aussies and two kiwis on the Dunes

Then off to the Bedioun Camp for dinner
