Well we are definitely going to try

Pete is now relaxed and we have enjoyed the last few days saying bye to friends and family.

Today took us to the Riverhead Tavern. Thank you Darryl & Glenis for lunch - we now have a mission for our holiday - RATING PUB LUNCHES !!!!!

The menu changes tonight at the Riverhead to a Winter one - try it out. The service was superb, extremely friendly and very relaxed with fantastic views looking over the river. The food was great and were generous portions - we all had something different and had no complaints at all and for four people food and drinks it was good value. Unfortunately as this is our first restaurant it only gets a 5 out of 10. It has definitely set the bench mark. We shall have to visit again on our return to NZ in November.

You could just about get a narrowboat down here, The tide is on the way in.

Well that is us for today - 3 sleeps to go, daughter home tomorrow, house sitters arrive the next and then off to Dubai. :-)
