17 September - A rest day in Romiley
Yesterday was declared a rest day we have not had a full day off since the 8th so we stayed put. Two walks to Aldi for supplies, 1 each.
Our view for the day, Pete did try talking us into going 6 miles down to a prettier spot as recommended by another boater - yeah right.
Boat needed running so I de-cruded the prop, this is the worst it's been since London.
We watched dvds because of no TV reception, had a roast beef and Yorkshires (10/10) and read books in bed. Definitely a proper rest day.
