Wadenhoe

Finally caught up with QISMA

Having rented the car for two days we headed off for Wadenhoe to meet up with Jan and Alistair and their dog LG  after  exploring on our way. They had moored QISMA behind the Kings Head on the River Nene and were waiting when we arrived at noon.

After the meeting which had been in the making for 3 or 4 years we headed to the pub for lunch.

I give it a 9/10 for my sausage and mash. Vicki gives it a 10/10 for the Salmon which was superb  http://www.wadenhoekingshead.co.uk/ Thank you both so much for lunch and all the sound advise and great company.
After lunch we headed back to their boat and had discussions about the River Thames and tides and what not - sound advise as per usual. We hope we catch up again before we leave UK.
They also gave Pete the wine he won back in Feb 2014 for the naming of a boat.

 Bottle of Ned we bought on 14 Feb 14 and of cause drunk last summer

Replacement bottle shall be saved and will drink on our completion of the River Thames

An hours drive back to Musn Grumble and shall return car in morning and start heading for London. We won't miss the train noise.
