Rotherham to Ickles Lock

19 October - No hurry today

Up and about with no hurry today, we spent some time researching water and pump outs for the rest of the trip. Vicki went for a walk and found a market and got fruit and veg, while I did boat cleaning.

Rotherham Chapel of our Lady

Time capsule outside Minister

Rotherham Minister we had family that got married here I need to research a bit more but photo taken for Ancestry https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Saints_Church,_Rotherham

We moved back down stream to Eastwood lock to the water point but that one was not working so we ended up filling water inside Eastwood lock as tap is beside the control tower. We also had lunch and disposed rubbish and washed down boat, as well as the front and rear decks. we then moved back up past last nights mooring and on through 2 locks to moor above Ickles lock ready to meet CRT in the morning at 9 30 at Holmes Lock. Still no TV reception, thats 3 days now, thank God for books.
