Napton Bottom Lock to Navigation Bridge, Willoughby

24 August - Crossing our previous path

Moved off at 9 in fine but cold weather, no more locks just a quiet cruise to Napton junction and into Wigrams Turn Marina for diesel and a pump out - we stopped here on our way down to London.
On the horizon is a Windmill at Napton on the Hill

Turn in to Wigrams and note below the cignets have grown over the summer, feathers are changing
Leaving the marina we turned right and ran the 5 miles to Braunston Turn (which is Grand Union and Oxford Canal) a part of the canal system we have been on before -at the intersection of Braunston we turned left. This stretch was a lot busier as boat were trying to beat the weather

Braunston Junction, Pete below in deep concentration as the boat in front was a hire boat

About here the rain started and it slowly increased so we thought bugger it and hooked up to a rail just before Navigation Bridge, Willoughby.

When we had the pump out I bought the boat porn for Pete and we noticed that in the Forum is a picture of Musn Grumble.not with us at the helm must be a file pic.

TOTAL - 8 miles, 0 Locks, 1 pump out and diesel 68L
